Frequently asked questions.
How do I pay for therapy services?
Our office accepts BCBS PPO plans, Aetna plans & UHC/Optum plans. We also offer private pay options and can offer a sliding scale on a case by case basis! We handle all of the hassle of dealing with insurance, checking benefits, submitting claims and dealing with denials. You’ve got enough going on, so we’ve got that covered!
What if you are not in network with my insurance?
We can still meet. The client would have to pay privately, and your therapy can provide you with a superbill which you would submit to your insurance company to be directly reimbursed via your out-of-network benefits if applicable.
How long do sessions last?
Sessions last about 50-55 minutes. If you are signed up for intensive sessions (private pay only) then your sessions will range from 75-120 minutes.
Can I bring my spouse to session?
This will be up to you and your therapist! Typically, no other humans are allowed in an individual session - however, your therapist may allow a guest on a case-by-case basis if it aligns with your therapeutic goals.
What ages do you see?
At this time, TDT only serves adults 18+.
What if I cannot make it to session?
Not a problem, life happens. We have a cancellation policy that requires clients to provide 24 hour notice when they have to cancel session. Late cancelations are fined $100. If you do not notify your therapist and you “ghost” aka no call no show, the no show fee of $150 will be applied. Repeated or frequent cancellations any of kind will result in client forfeiting saved spot in the schedule due to lack of attendance.
