Thriving Daisies Therapy PLLC is a growing, woman-owned private practice in Frankfort, IL specializing in supporting young adults with anxiety and trauma and humans navigating identity shifts, burnout, and life transitions.

Our office is located in Historic Downtown Frankfort.

We offer a warm, collaborative, trauma-informed environment where both clients and clinicians can thrive. As we expand into our new space, we’re looking for a therapist who values compassion, authenticity, and client-centered care. We support the drive and hustle of therpists while also prioritizing the work-life balance.

Position Overview

We’re seeking a licensed therapist to join our team and provide high-quality outpatient psychotherapy to children, adolescents and/or adults. The ideal candidate is passionate about anxiety, trauma, and holistic mental health, and enjoys working in a supportive, low-bureaucracy private practice setting.

The ideal candidate would be able to provide couples therapy and/or family therapy.

You choose your schedule, your therapy style and have input into your caseload size and your ideal client — we support you in doing your best work.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Provide individual, couple or family psychotherapy (in-office or hybrid)

  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation according to practice policies

  • Collaborate when needed with community providers, schools, or healthcare teams

  • Attend monthly team meetings and occasional trainings (paid)

  • Attend weekly supervisions if not fully licensed (paid)

  • Maintain ethical, evidence-based practice aligned with Illinois standards

Who You Are

You’re a good fit if you are:

  • An LSW/LCSW, LPC/LCPC, in Illinois (or eligible soon)

  • Passionate about assisting humans heal from trauma and life stressors

  • Comfortable working independently but enjoy being part of a team

  • Organized, communicative, and ethically grounded

  • Warm, relatable, and human — we support authenticity over perfection

Extra bonus if you have:

  • Training in Play therapy, Brainspotting, EMDR, ART or other trauma modalities

  • Experience with young adults, college students, or parenting

  • Experience with couples and or family therapy

 

Hours

  • Full-time: 25+ clients/week (flexible)

  • Part-time: 15 minimum clients/week

  • Evenings and weekends are not required but strongly encouraged to build up caseload in a timely manner due to demand in community

Requirements

  • Active Illinois license (LSW/LCSW, LPC/LCPC)

  • Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field

  • Minimum 1 year of post-graduate therapy experience preferred

  • Ability to pass background check

  • Willingness to adhere to practice policies

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills

  • Commitment to ethical practice and client-centered care
