Hi, I’m Walter.
Walter is Thriving Daisies Therapy’s resident therapy dog in training and an important part of the calming, supportive environment we aim to create. Walter has a gentle, friendly personality and often helps clients feel more comfortable and relaxed during sessions.
He is especially helpful during moments of heightened emotion, anxiety, or flashbacks, where his presence can provide grounding and support as clients work on emotional regulation. Sometimes simply having a warm, calm dog nearby can make difficult conversations feel a little easier.
Walter is always happy to offer quiet companionship, a comforting presence, and the occasional reminder to pause and breathe. When he’s not supporting therapy sessions, Walter’s favorite activities include belly rubs, making new friends, and being reminded that he is, in fact, the goodest boy.
Walter can be used by all of the therapists depending on the day of your appointment.
If dogs are not your thing - that’s okay too! Walter can stay in his crate during your session :)
