Unfortunately, it is becoming harder for LSW to find jobs that offer supervision as part of their benefit package - pushing them to seek it elsewhere. But what they’re encountering is … there are a lot of clinicians that charge what is often an unaffordable rate for those supervision hours.

I was truly grateful for my supervisor while working towards my hours & I hope to be that guidance for others! I charge $60 per supervision hour.

I have several years experience of social work under my belt ranging from: nonprofit case management with the aging population and the houseless population, peer mediation, hospital social work and discharge planning, crisis hotline, domestic violence shelter, residential care and of course… individual psychotherapy!

The purpose of this supervision is to provide guidance and oversight to the Supervisee as they work towards meeting the clinical experience requirements for LCSW licensure in Illinois, as outlined by the Illinois Department of Financial & Professional Regulation (IDFPR).
