Hi, I’m Jenna.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Illinois who works with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief, identity concerns, trauma, life transitions, relationship difficulties, ADHD, and other challenges that can make life feel overwhelming or uncertain. I have experience working with clients across outpatient, residential, and educational settings.
My approach to therapy is rooted in authenticity and connection. I believe therapy should be a space where you can show up exactly as you are, without judgment or pressure to have everything figured out. My work is person-centered and trauma-informed, with an emphasis on understanding your unique experiences, needs, and goals. I recognize that healing is not linear, so I allow you to set the pace of therapy while offering support, encouragement, and gentle challenges along the way.
My Approach
After spending several years living in Colorado, I developed a deep appreciation for slowing down, spending time outdoors, and creating space to be present. I carry those values into my work by encouraging clients to make room for rest, connection, and the things that bring meaning to their lives.
Who i work with
I work with preteens as young as 12 to folks up to 60 years old!
I pull from a variety of different interventions such as CBT, DBT, mindfulness and trauma informed care. I can support those who struggle with depression, anxiety, PTSD, stress management, multicultural issues, self-esteem, young adults, behavior management, ADHD, grief/loss, family of origin issues, relationship issues & much more!
Fun facts
Outside of therapy, Jenna enjoys spending time with her dog, crocheting, relaxing in a hammock, exploring the outdoors and finding a good coffee shop. She believes that the small moments of joy in everyday life can be an important part of creating a life that feels meaningful and fulfilling.
