Hi, I’m Nancy.

I have a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lewis University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Domestic Violence Professional. I work with teens and adults, focusing on domestic violence and abuse, anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, childhood trauma, grief, life transitions, and relationship difficulties.

In therapy with me, you’ll find a safe, down-to-earth space where you can explore what’s been getting in your way—and why. At the heart of my work is a deep interest in how past experiences have shaped the way you feel and function in the present. Together, we’ll look at patterns, beliefs, and behaviors that may have been helpful at one point in your life but are now limiting or painful—and work to shift them.

I specialize in working with domestic violence and abuse. I understand how complex and isolating these dynamics can be, and I’ll work at your unique pace while prioritizing your safety and autonomy. Whether you’re healing from past abuse or need support in your current situation, I’ll be a strong and steady presence.

My Approach

My goal isn’t just to help you “cope” but to help you understand yourself more fully, shift long-standing patterns, and feel more grounded in who you are

A sense of safety

Creating a sense of safety is at the heart of trauma-informed therapy. I will meet you with compassion, respect, and without judgment, allowing you to share only what feels comfortable and at a pace that feels right for you. You will always have a voice in the process—we can pause, slow down, or change direction whenever needed. Together, we will build trust, strengthen coping skills, and create a steady, supportive space where healing can unfold without pressure.

Fun facts

Beyond her clinical work, Nancy enjoys a quiet life with her partner, who farms, and their two cats. Both come from farming families, so frequent topics of conversation at night are the weather, what the neighbor’s been up to, and how the latest farm projects are coming along. It’s a steady rhythm that keeps her connected to the kind of everyday life she values.
